about

This piece is recorded just above the South Arm of Biirrinba where Grey-headed Flying Foxes and Australian White Ibis both share roosting/nesting colonies. It is right beside the main road south out of Maclean and the poor creatures must put up with constant traffic noise, as well as the ever-present threat of being moved on by hostile humans. How can they get any sleep?!
